Billy's striking good looks have won him many fans! 

He produces lovely lateral work and also has a bold jump. Billy and Hugo arrived at the yard at more or less the same time and formed a firm friendship. They look out for each other and are often to be seen sharing a hay pile in the field. 

The original Hugo of the yard, he gained the moniker "Big" when "Little" Hugo arrived in 2019. He is a talented boy who can turn his hoof to anything. He is also well behaved on the lunge, for clients who want to really target their position. He is happiest when relaxing in the field with his best friend Billy.

One of our older horses,but don't let that fool you! Buzz is very capable, taking both novice and experienced rider for flatwork and jumping. He certainly has his quirks, but he just wouldn't be the same without them! He can often be found taking a nap in his stable, or having a boxing match with fieldmate Little Hugo.

Little Hugo is not that little, but "Medium Hugo" doesn't have the same ring to it...! He is a good-natured pony, suitable for novice and experienced riders. Little Hugo's favourite hobby is chewing things he shouldn't.

Also known as Princess Sausage! She is an 11.3hh skewbald pony, suitable for young riders on and off the lead rein. Here she is enjoying a Pony Club Christmas event at the yard!

Our own unicorn! Elvis is very friendly with a gentle nature, and has even shown this on community visits. He does not canter in lessons, but has given hundreds of children their first rides, and taught them their "up-downs". 

Beautiful Blossom is a 16 year old chestnut mare. Sadly due to an ongoing health issue she has been retired from the school. She is still very curious, loves company, bananas and attention!

Having spent the winter as a dedicated companion for Blossom, Honey has now gone to a beautiful retirement home in Thriplow. She settled in immediately and looked very content.

Elegant Pooka is a 14.2hh registered Connemara. This breed is known for jumping, & Pooka is no exception- jumping is her favourite thing, but she is very capable in flatwork lessons also.

Buddy was one of our longest serving ponies, and has recently retired to a wonderful new home in Oxfordshire. His favourite pastime is rolling in mud after he's just been cleaned! 

Red loves his ridden work - he is a dressage superstar,  a keen jumper and loves a cross country course.  He does however like his personal space on the gound.

Silver has had a showjumping career in his younger years, and has also been a carriage pony before coming to us. He has really settled into his new job at the riding school and still loves to jump on occasion!

Splash is a versatile pony, both in his work and his looks! He is well-schooled & can be ridden by beginners, though he excels with confident riders in both dressage and jumping.

You can always depend on Crackle!

Crackle is 12.3hh, and generous to young riders of all abilities, from first lessons to first jumps and beyond. He is also a firm favourite for Pony Club, as he is so kind on the ground. His stable is closest to the yard gates, and so he often greets people with a friendly face when they first arrive.

Pretty red roan Bramble is an eye-catching little pony. Like Splash, he is understanding of beginners,

but also loves to jump and start lateral work with more experienced riders.

Our pocket rocket!

Lily is a piebald cob. She thrives with quiet & confident riders, and loves to jump!

Our newest member of the herd. Izzie a fifteen year old chestnut mare standing at 15.2hh. She is settling in nicely.

Womble is a Dartmoor pony. Despite his moorland roots, he does feel the cold, and so has quite the wardrobe of cosy rugs when out in the field.

He has recently moved to the New Forest with his new owner and taken all his lovely rugs with him!

Gary aka Royal Garnet has just arrived at the yard. He is ten years old and 16.2hh. We're looking forward to getting to know him.
