Sawston Riding School

Sawston Riding School has been running for over 40 years
at its base in Common Lane in the historic village of Sawston, Cambridgeshire.
We are a small, family run yard with approximately eighteen horses and ponies of varying sizes.
All of our horses and ponies are well schooled, friendly and very well behaved.
We cater for all ages and abilities from 5 to 105 years and our qualified staff have all been with us
for many years and have a wealth of experience.
Sawston Riding School is a successful Pony Club Centre with over 70 active members
and hold regular Pony Club sessions which include both riding and stable management.
We also run the Pony Club tests at the yard for centre members.
We have two floodlit all weather outdoor arenas and a small cross country course on site.
We hold a number of activity days and clinics with visiting professionals,
such as jump clinics with John Adams, horse agility and polocross.
We have a Heather Moffett Equi-simulator, called Challenger,
which is popular with both beginners and more advanced riders.
It improves rider position and gives our trained instructors the ability
to do a hands-on session with the client.
Lessons are held from Tuesday to Sunday.
All bookings and cancellations must be made by telephone on 01223 835198.
At busy times there may not be anyone available to answer the phone
so please leave a message and we will call you back.
All cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours notice
or you will be charged the full cost of the lesson.
All new rider lessons must be paid for in advance.
